Nihonkai Sakanamachi
Nihonkai Sakanamachi is the largest fish market on the Sea of Japan side of the country. There are many fresh fish shops that sell seafood directly from Tsuruga Port, and restaurants for such foods as sushi and kaisendon (seafood rice bowl).
