Taraibune (tub boats)
Taraibune appeared in the Ghibli movie "Spirited Away." It was originally conceived for the purpose of fishing by Ama (woman divers), said to be an improvement from a laundry washbucket to the tub-like boat of today. Visitors can enjoy a unique experience on the clear seas of Sado.
