Takeshita Street is Harajuku’s main street,loaded with everything from kawaii goods from across Japan to thrift-shops and luxury stores and goods from all over the world. This 350-meter long street is lined to the brim with shops selling fashion items, sundries, crepes, print club machines, and 100-yen shops for the young, among others.

While the place is commonly known for its alternative fashion stores, it is gaining popularity for its creative treats stores, like the sugar-loaded crepes, with amazing fillings like cheese cakes, chocolate brownies and a lot more. Other amazing treats include the Japanese-style Parfait that includes Japanese traditional ingredients such as Green Matcha and Mochi, Zaku Zaku Churros, a very crunchy cream puff stick filled with cream custard. There are also back alleys lined with popular restaurants that have lineups to get in. The Harajuku Tourist Information Center is located near the intersection at the end of Takeshita Street.

How to Get to Harajuku Takeshita Street
Takashita street is fairly easy to reach, by walking for 2 minutes after getting off the subway at Harajuku Station which is located between Shinjuku and Shibuya Station on the JR Line.
